So your first vacation in years is to Toronto, but we're the suckers?
Enjoy the trip (and pepper spray). Come back soon, preferably female, hot, blonde and with low standards.

Ok easy guys, we all know that BOTH Calgary and Toronto suck compared to Saskatchewan.

Vacation in Toronto? Is that even possible? Don't get shot or knifed. Enjoy the earthquakes and tornadoes. And yes they pay that much tax it is ridiculous.

Do they even still have that? I stopped paying attention to Muchmusic when they decided not to play music.

Maybe CC will show up on Electric Circus, do they still do that show? Can't say I've watched that channel for over 10-15 years, its been great without it.

Toronto gets a bad rap. It does have problems like traffic but it's infinitely more interesting city to live in than Calgary - and I'm a Calgarian

Norm!

So after a disaster of a family get together, combined with a near arrest I left Toronto a few days early.
Yes, I got caught in the Riots on that included a burning police car multiple smashed windows a ATM machine thrown through a window. And a bunch of morons who destroyed the chances for any of the peaceful marches to be effective.
Sadly, my curiosity got the better of me and I wanted to see what the G8/G20 protests were like so I went downtown to watch. Sure enough a bunch of trouble broke out as a group of morons decided to break away from the protests at the wall and basically destroy everything they could get their hands on. The like cowards after yelling at people to destroy things because its fun, they stripped off their black clothing and face masks and mixed in with the terrified peaceful protesters.
So why the near arrest? I was wearing a black Forest Lawn High School T-Shirt and I was in the area. So I was questioned. Not handcuffed or anything. But cops in riot gear are pretty intimidating.
On the way home, my overwhelming feeling was that Those Black Bloc Rioters deserve tons of jail time and sentences that include cleaning up Downtown Toronto with their tongues.
My favorite protester was a guy with dreads wearing a 9/11 was done by the Jews T-Shirt and holding up a sign protesting the governments secret mandatory ID chip mind control protester.
Either he was kidding, or insane, but what a great conversation.
