Funny, his name escapes me too right now but I vividly remember hearing that Backlund weas called up and myself and half of CP logged in solely to read his "told 'ya so" but alas, he was already gone. I was so sure he would reappear for that!

Chris Lindberg?
Only thing I really liked about tehfanblogger was the time he took to review prospects at the training camp sessions. While what he wrote was pretty much his own opinion on the prospects, that info was better than nothing.

Wasn't that Chris Lindberg who said Backlund would play for the flames that year? Backlund ended up playing a game right after the world junior tourney in Ottawa and Chris Lindberg disappeared.

I actually think he did a good job with the training camp stuff.
Me thinks people around here are a bit too picky about what threads get posted in the FOI section. Reggie is the worst by far.
We had in effect someone who was willing to take the time to go down to training camp and post what he saw, and people found a way to bitch about that too.
"But he was illiterate!!!" excuse makes you sound like a 7 year old jealous kid on the playground. Nobody forced anyone to read his threads. And going by the amount of thanks he got for the training camp threads, I think a lot of us appreciated the info.
