Last developer's conference I went to, only one presenter I saw wasn't running OSX on a MacBook of some kind.

Yeah, maybe I'll finally get around to trying to get it running properly on my Dell. I used to have a link to a really good guide for it, but I lost it a while back.

I've tried Red-Hat, Ubuntu, FreeBSD and while I like Ubuntu, I like to easily fire up Visual Studio and do some coding. I ended up dual booting my iMac with Mac OS X/Windows 7. At one point I used Parallels but didn't particularly like it.

As this thread indicates, it reallly depends on what you need.
