Where do I apply? The compensation seems pretty competitive.

How come this didn't make the evening news? You'd think something like this would be the top story for days.

1 million dollars in $100 bills weighs approximately 22 pounds.

Because it was in Mexico. If this happened in Israel it would be all over the news. Sure, most people would be sympathizing with drug lord because of heavy handed Israeli tactics, but that's not the point.

I'm pretty sure this is old news.

I've seen some of these pictures before and that was about 4 years ago.

EDIT: It is old news http://www.latimes.com/news/la-fg-me...,3877797.story

The "100" written on the package does not indicate that it is 100 $100 bills.

That's $100,000.

To clear up the confusion, I think the "100" stands for '$100,000 in this package" rather than '100 bills in this package.'

Thats too huge a brick to only have 100, $100 bills.

Each small stack wrapped in rubberbands is 100x$100.00 = $10,000 (this is a universal stack), theres 10 of those wrapped in the plactic = $100,000.00. How people can't grasp this is beyond me.

I'm guessing at least $2 million in that case (could be more as its hard to tell how deep the case is)

They only shoot 24k gold bullets. Not very money efficient, anyway!

Sometimes I wonder how hard it would be to get into dealing. Even do it for a bit then get out. I'd be happy with a few hundred k. Sigh....

The problem is that your living off of the misery of others. I doubt your going to make huge money on grass sales unless your moving it in bulk. The real money is in the cocaine, and other nasty drugs.

I think it takes a special kind of thug to be able to look into the eyes of a desparate addict and sell them the very thing thats killing them, and I think there's a special place in hell for the ones that sell it to kids.

To make money in the drug trade you need to take on the risky jobs, either run the production and distribution end, or get your pilots licenses and smuggle it into the country.

Ok that picture of all the cash stacked up is epic.

I wonder how many bills went "missing" while in transit.

Not me, I'd just sell to the rich casual users. It wouldn't hurt anyone.

Eh, I couldn't do it. I cringe when things like that happen in breaking bad and they sell to people who.... Ugh. Cringe.
