I wonder if "laugh a minute" Jeff is going to think it is so funny when he has a criminal record following him around.

These guys won't go to prison, they will go to jail then post bail or bond or whatever you call it, will end up getting probation. Who knows what possesses someone to do something that stupid.

- theft over $5,000
- dangerous driving
- operating a motor vehicle without insurance
- operating a motor vehicle while unauthorized
- operating a transit vehicle while unauthorized
- two counts of failing to remain at the scene of an accident.
Lol, wow.

More than likely 3 of those 6 charges will end up being dropped, but I think he is slapped with a hefty fine, and no jail time.

This reminds me of the time my brother took a zamboni for a rip after a beer league tournament. He was banned from the arena... until they realized he was their best ref. I lol'd. His wife was mortified. Still is actually which is why I bring it up all the time.

"Failing to remain at the scene of an accident" implies that, in fact, they did crash the damn thing.
Have a good laugh paying off that fine, possibly losing your licence and having your own insurance skyrocket, and having a criminal record. Hardy har har.

Per the news report they sideswiped a few parked cars in the residential neighbourhood.
Hell, just watch the video, you can hear them dinging cars as they make their poorly executed turns

My guess is the only charge that doesn't get dropped is the theft over 5,000, they get a slap on the wrist after that.

Exactly, they're as guilty as you can get, so naturally they'll take a plea on one or two of the charges, get some weak sentence (probation likely), and a suspended license for a couple of months.
However, we can only pray they have to pay out the nose for insurance from now on.
