The Chicken at the 7-11 in Claresholm is crazy good.

That being said, there used to be a place in Nanton called Bill's. It was a little burger joint on the side of the highway and they made really good burgers. I don't know if it's there anymore, but if it is I highly recomend it.
If still there that place is awesome

Its the kind of place where it becomes more convenient to walk the three or four blocks to talk to someone than to use your cell phone!

If my dream of retiring in Germany fails, I wouldn't mind ending up there. Again, I don't know exactly what it is, but I freaking love that town.

And Joni Mitchell is from there.
lol, seriously?

If anything the place is dreary as hell to me. I have no idea why.

Most likely because the only time I go there is for SCF, which is a three day music and arts festival. Maybe I'm being nostalgic.

If you want me to get started on great restaurants in Lethbridge I (and plenty of others as well I am sure) can. I've heard that Lethbridge has the most restaurants per capita in Canada; I've never really fact checked this, but it is probably true.

Also I don't know where you are coming from (maybe the airport), but when I go to Calgary from Lethbridge to visit family/friends, it takes me just under 2 hours.

Calgary to Lethbridge is a comfortable 2 hours.

I've heard the bridge has the most restaurants per capita too... but when I lived there, I always thought it was a lot of fast food places etc...

But I'm not sure.

There are good restaurants in Lethbridge though.
