The idea is definitely there and I see where they are going with it. I feel it just fell short of the homerun that it could have been.

The main things this site is facing is
a) Our demographic has an attention span of 3sec
b) This is a harder topic to address because its been handled the same way hundreds of times: Insert generic beat up, cut up gory car accident face.
c) Selling anything serious to 16-24 year olds that doesn't involve sex, celebrities or technology is a tall order.

I think they've done a better job than those before them but I don't know if its a campaign that will live on and be memorable.

7/10

I am in the target demographic. I agree with others that the site does not seem to take the matter of drinking and driving seriously. It's too much of a joke.

I give you it might hold their attention but stuff like this doesn't make any difference to how kids drink, you want to affect that put make sure drivers hit a road block every 2 or 3 weeks of the year outside of xmas.
The threat of losing their licence is a greater threat than death to most kids.

I disagree with all of you. Teenagers are dumb.

Just make your website show the australian impaired/distracted driving ads. Those will certainly freak you out.

Whoever wrote the quiz tried way too hard to be "funny and relevant".
As with many other posters here, I'd took one look at the zombie-impersonator on the couch and was already immensely disappointed. The quiz just made it worse.

This is true, if they geared the idea towards what life is like after losing their license and/or dying, it would be better, kids would relate more to that and be more scared. Right now its too Zombie like.

Thanks everyone.

It is an Alberta Government website and I too questioned the value of the dollars spent. (though i don't know what that figure is)

I also wondered if the "P A R T Y" program was still running. I know my kids took part in that when they were in high school and it had a huge impact on them; more than I think this website would.

Wait... you're saying if I die in a car wreck I become part of the living dead?

As a 23 year old all I can say is "SIGN ME UP!"

Here is the other thing. As someone turning 24 this year, why are you lumping me in with a 16 year old?

Because no one knew before now that being dead is undesirable, right? (unless you're suicidal, of course)
