What do you guys think? Based on my music style, any other songs or bands I should be listening to?
Snow Patrol, The Libertines, Kasabian, Louis XIV, Interpol, Afghan Whigs, Franz Ferdinand.

One of the best songs IMO.

Great selection you have there.

Jon - noticed Rawlin's Cross is on your list. Are they still together? I've not heard much from them lately. Frankly I was a bigger fan of their stuff before they got a new lead singer a few years back. But still like their music.

And BlackArcher101, I agree, a really great song.

unforunately not, they broke up in 2000 I believe. I remember seeing them on their fairwell tour (I say that like it was a big deal) and thinking "this is the last time I'll ever hear them play Reel 'n' Roll live.

Love them, but alas they aren't together.

If you did like them you'd probably like The Fables as well, another Newfie band, that sings original Celtic music, won Entertainer of the Year at the ECMA's a few years back, their concerts are always a good time.

"Heave Away" probably their most catchy song, but "St. John's" is good too, I like "Lazy Tom" lyrics are a bit strange, then again what celtic song's isn't?

Edit: I'm also a HUGE fan of the Oasis song in question

You should probably be getting some Pogues or Ducky Boys on there.

Oh, and btw, i stumbled upon a great site, which also happens to be a UK radio station. The station is called XFM (www.xfm..co.uk), and the site has lots of songs to listen to and even streaming live video concerts. So for anyone who listens to the sort of music I have on my playlist, give the site a look.

Cut the oasis and that's a great mix. Otherwise that mix stinks of oasis.
