Army Men are the greatest toy ever to be invented. That said, f*$# the Minesweeper and Radioman, they are all I ever got.

I had a couple hundred army men and I'd set them up in all the Fisher price buildings and car garages atop my ping pong table. I'd then take elastic bands, stretch them with a ruler and snipe down all the men.

I never had a dead army man, but there were a lot of dead guys in the cowboys and indians sets I had.

#1 cool green army guy for me was the bazooka guy. I loved bazooka when I was a kid. Cool name that packed a hard punch.

We had a similar game when I was a kid. We built forts out of Lincoln Logs and barricades to protect our army men. Then we fired dart guns at the structures until we "killed" the other men. If you had the last green guy standing you were the winner. Good times. I'm glad I grew up before kids only played video games.

Heh. It turns out that some are on foot patrol with their squads in the potted plant jungle while others are lobbing grenades from the door jam. Only the ones hidden in the lights are truly sniping.
