"Dog Finder" or something to that effect?

Oooh, I was! I'd get out of the car to ask someone "have you seen a little grey..." and then burst into more tears, hahah. For the record though, I'm a girl, so it makes it a tiny bit more acceptable. Though I think that losing a pet is enough to make any grown man cry. Otherwise, he clearly has no heart.
Tron- You're my hero! A custom title is a must!

awesome work tron! my dog seems to get loose every once and a while and only once have people taken them to the city. Once they called the humane society and left their name and number and took him to their house. Other times he has been taken to the 24 hr pet hospital.
I was in blackfalds after this years heckle and there was a boxer puppy roaming around, we stopped whistled and he jumped right on my lap and we took him to a house that had someone working on their car and it was their's they were happy to have him back and didn't realize he had gotten out.

Since its Erin Woods, I'm amazed the dog wasn't pawned immediately after discovery.
Secondly, why are you still on the internet and not rushing to pick up your dog?

I think it is best to have one of those personal dog tags with the owner's phone number on the tag. I have found a couple dogs wandering around the neighborhood over the years. Just give the number a call and the people get their dog back right away. Both times they didn't even know the dog had got out.
Tron. You are awesome.

Too funny, someone should forward this to the media, would make one of those cheesy heartwarming stories they like to tell.

While it is a good story, its not like Tron found the dog in real life; the news story would read:
"Man directs woman to city website; Dog keeps smiling"

I spoke to some pretty sketchy people last night while wandering Erin Woods. I was just hoping they wouldn't be the ones to find her.
My dad's gone to pick her up 'cause he doesn't work during the day. Mom just took the day off 'cause she didn't get any sleep (like any of us did, lol). I just want to seeee her! Even her stinky breath, and even worse farts. I was worried I was going to miss those, hahah. As far as I know though, she's perfectly fine. She didn't even look dirty or muddy or anything in the picture, so I don't think she even spent the night outside.
"Man directs woman to city website; Dog keeps smiling" made me lol. I think it would have been less impressive if the first link he sent wasn't my dog. I was thinking "there's no way this is going to be her", but I opened, and there was Mazie! Last time she got out we didn't get her back for over a week, so I wasn't getting my hopes up that we'd see her so soon.
I spent a while last night emailing everyone at every radio station I could think of to ask if they could mention it on the air, and now that she's been found, I'm emailing them all back telling them not to worry about it. Of course, I've been mentioning that I found her on CP of all places, and that being a Flames fan really is the smartest thing I've ever done.
I keep reading "Man directs woman to city website; Dog keeps smiling", and I burst out laughing every time. Good work, Ducay. I like it. I've laughed at that more times alone than I've laughed at anything in the funny picture/video thread.

My dad just brought her by my work. She stinks like the pound, but is safe and sound, and that's all that matters.
Case closed.

Wow, no thanks necessary fellas, all I did was look it up on the City Animal Services site.
I've picked up a dog that was on the prowl before, took him in and fed him, then called animal services. They're pretty good about posting pics of dogs they get turned into them; the one I found was picked up the same day by its owner.
Like I said, I've lost my dog before and it sucks. Just glad I could do anything at all to help.

woah! This thread is nothing like I expected. Actually, it's much better.
I misread the thread title as a tongue-in-cheek "'Dog' Lost on Elin Woods". Relating to this link.
Good work, Tron. Always love a good lost and found animal story.
