we drove down to seattle in the spring and stopped in sandpoint on the way down there and both times we had fantastic food - a mexican place (no it was not taco bell), and a pizza shop (no it was not sbarro, although that my friends is good eatin').......

on the way back it took us about an hour to get through coure thanks to some stalled vehicle, I was beside myself at what a mess the road was.

I'd say the NorthTown Mall is better than this one. I seem to recall the Valley mall having a lot of missing tenants last year when I was there.

We might be heading that way soon, I don't suppose you remember the name do you, or at least roughly where it is?

i believe the name of the place was jalapeno's......i guess i should probably say that it was mexican themed, and in reality the food was mexican-american.

the wife and i enjoyed it (the kids not so much) and as usual in the USa you got a lot of food for your $.

the name of the pizza place was second ave pizza - it takes them a while to prep the pie, but it is worth the wait......once again, a ton for food for your $

If you are into model trains, they have a really good model train store in Spokane as well.

And if you are into board games www.boardsandbits.com is really cheap and you can do local pickup at their building.

Love that place! We go to Coeur D'Alene every second summer and always make a trip into Spokane while we are there.
This is one of our stops along with visiting Riverfront park, etc.

If watching KREM 12 in the 1970s taught me anything, is that everything in Spokane happens at Division and Sprague.

^Apparently it taught you that in 2010 and again in 2011. Look up.

Fun fact: The locals think it's funny to pronounce Sprague as Spra-goo.

Check out Nordsturm's Rack in Spokane. It is Nordstrums outlet store. Great deals on shoes and Jeans.
