Don't be a dick man. This is a forum not a freaking university paper. If you're trying to learn something about a website (which requires an up-to-date background check) then wikipedia is a valid place to turn to. Unless you want to look up engadget from your shelf of encylopedias and academic journals.
I was trying to show the reputation that engadget has as a reputable tech website. It was also corroborated by a fellow poster on the same page. Again, not an academic source but a personal opinion. If you look at the page on wikipedia, you'll notice that the website launched in 2004, is featured on Google Reader, available in multiple languages and owned by AOL. You can also read a section entitled 'controversy' to get a few additional stories from the other side.
I know you think you're hilarious with your tongue in cheek comments, but you're not and it doesn't add anything to a legitimate conversation.
