How did he get off the coke and drunk driving charges ? Jeez, even the Mounties get busted sometimes... usually a fatality though.

It would be interesting to see how many other people in Canada with similar charges plee to a guilty plea on one charge and get the other charges withdrawn?

I'm not being snide, I'm just curious. I mean I don't like the deal, but I'm a law and order type. But I still wonder if it wasn't a standard agreed to deal.

He plead guilty to a lesser charge, dangerous or careless ? don't recall.

Cocaine charges dropped ? And the Driving charges could have been criminal rather than motor vehicle...

Talk about a "get out of jail" card... The average tax paying guy out for a bit of fun would have got slammed hard by the prosecutor, no doubt about it...

I don't really agree with that. We've seen more instances of plea agreements by overworked prosecutors that are trying to clear their dockets.

Again I'm not saying one way or another whether he got a deal or not.

Is this his first criminal offense?

How many other cases with similar charges got similar sentences? Higher ones"

The prosecutors prey on the weak, IE: honest red neck guys that still naively believe in justice and don't know how to play the game...

Old fashioned values that this country was built on fail miserably in today's society. Jus sayin.

Good ole Slava. "I cant figure out how to respond, so I'll make up an irrelevant coment and try and attribute it to someone else to make myself appear smart."

Who said anything about "brushing this under the rug", genius?

Ignatief's argument is on the level of calling all Liberals racist because of Heidi Fry.
