This is the greatest, most moving commercial ever created. I tear up every time I see it.



It's even more special now that I've been to Dieppe and to the monument the kid kneels in front of.

I like the dodge hemi ones from a while ago. I think they sold a lot of trucks from those ads.

I simultaneously love AND hate this one.

love the music (debussy - clair de lune)
love the slow motion dog bark
love the grain and contrast of the video - sharp, detailed, but muted and grey, reminds me of 'the machinist'.
love the look on the face of the girl
love the overall landscape shot, of what I think is NY and the surrounding area

hate the smug look of the dad (I have a buddy that looks just like him LOL) and when he looks back when the dog barks
hate the look on the face of the girl (I know)
hate the fact that he doesnt appear to shoulder check when changing lanes (although the girl does)
