You know you have lived in Lethbridge fir too long and have the get the F out when you don't find it that windy out.
I've been here for 2-3 years, 8 months left

you must have been fortunate not to be caught by a particularly strong gust of wind. I haven't been here that long, but, as mentioned, I literally got blown off the sidewalk. And I'm not exactly the smallest guy in the world.

meh no big deal about the wind, we have been very fortunate so far in Lethbridge with these warm temperatures and no wind. It was bound to come eventually.

I lost my trash can last night. I had kept a good hold on it for 10 years but today it is no where to be found.

There is a ditch at the edge of the world, full of trash cans and extension cords.

Where I live in Calgary the wind can be so bad, that if I have my balcony door open and my main bedroom window open will all 4 doors (2 bedroom 2 bathroom) that if I open the front door to my place it will violently close all 4 doors.

Its quite the party trick to get someone to stand in one of the doorways and the guy gets smacked by the door.

I actually like the violent type weather in Calgary, I wish we had more thunderstorms and violent rain storms but with Enmax at the helm of ensuring reliable electricity flow, I am glad we dont have more

The wind down here is quite irritating. I'd rather it be cold than windy to be honest.

Another storm is happening here on the Coast with winds up to 90K. I've lost my power momentarily a couple of times. Hope it doesn't go out for the game tonight but I've already lost my HD satellite reception. Should go through S. Alberta some time tomorrow, if it follows the pattern.

They had to shut down the Lions Gate bridge here and Stanley Park. I expect a few old giant trees to be down like a couple of years ago.
