They are there to ADVERTISE their product. They make back their advertisement cost (see exhibition fee) in product sales.

The entry fee to get into the exhibit is just the exhibition organizer's attempt to gouge the public to look at exhibitor's advertisements.


... and the exhibitors don't get a cut of the take (to recoup their exhibitor fee cost).... it all goes to the event organizer.

Gouge the public??? Come on.... If it was $60 entry then yes.

Its also used to pay for the venue, I am sure the stampede board doesn't donate anything, plus staff costs, setup, security, insurance. If you don't like to pay for it then don't go, plain and simple.

The flames charge for you to see advertisements all over the saddledome, that guess what they charge the company to place those ads.

It a business plain and simple, last time I checked business' didnt just give things out for free.

You have your opinion.... and I have mine. To me, for what you get when you pay to get into something like this, its seriously overpriced at $11.50.

I may go... but I sure as hell won't fork out $11.50 to get in the door. $8.00 is the absolute max for me.
