In other news, I was at Yuk Yuk's the other night when a black comedian took the stage and went on to call someone in the audience a janky-ass cracker.

I am now taking Yuk Yuk's to court as I am outraged and feel their establishment has discriminated against my people by allowing such hurtful language.

It was just Vanflamesfan telling his buddy a joke and not realizing he was on the PA. Good thing the manager got a hold of the mic because I'm sure a sexist joke was going to follow.

I'm okay with it as long as he didn't say "Attention all individuals that have been beheaded. Please leave the store now!"

that would've been insensitive.

How did I know that I was gonna be brought up in this thread. I regret writing that line because it was so taken out of context, but I'm not gonna get into it and start another 2 page war.

On topic, who cares. Such a non issue that some people are outraged and are boycotting Wal Mart until something is done. Jesus, get over it people. It was stupid teenage prank. I guess Wal Mart could use a password on the PA system or something going forward. I used to work at Safeway and you literally had to press the "All Page" button on the phone and you were heard all over the store, so it's not hard to do.

Accessing the PA system at Wal-Mart involves pressing exactly two buttons on any phone in the store. I have used it myself to page people to help me when I couldn't find anyone around. I'm not surprised in the least that someone figured out how to use it for a practical joke, tasteless as it may have been. They should have stuck with the timeless classics like "Attention K-mart shoppers, we have a blue light special in the jockstrap department" and "Testes.........testes.............1-2............3?!?"

Bill Mitchell, a former Walmart employee who was shopping Wednesday at the store, said that he was saddened to hear about the announcement but that "as a black man, I've heard worse things."

As a white Canadian, I can't relate to this directly, but this is the most disturbing part of this story to me.

This is actually hilarious. I burst out laughing when I heard it.

We I was younger we got kicked of Zellars a few times for playing pranks on the intercoms. Really if it is an employee you fire him if not who cares.

Ah man, so many joke opportunites. I'll leave a classy racist joke opportunity open for VanFlamesfan though, as I only do classless dead people jokes.

Is that because dead person might have been someone's something?

Ha, I've seen videos of my friends doing this.

"Would the lady with the brown bag and the yellow hat please remove your baby from the toilet."

"Mike Hock, to the men's underwear section, Mike Hock."

"Clean up in my pants!"

Love it.

PLEASE DONT RESPOND TO THIS AS IT WILL DERAIL THIS THREAD....BUT I COULDNT BITE MY LIP ANY LONGER.

Stop misrepresenting me. Jesus. Not once did I say my jokes were classy or that I thought they were a-ok. I was making a point that I was all for innappropriate humor, but I felt the people in that thread went too far. There is a line to be drawn, even if it's on the internet. To hell with a family member of the victim seeing that, has some pride and some class in yourself. I have seen some great things and great moments by people on this board, but that was a low moment to me. It was classless, plain and simple.

And when I said racist jokes, I meant to say jokes like Russel Peters does, or Chris Rock or any other comedian that does a lot of race related humor. That;s what I meant to say and yeah, I probably should have been more clear, but I figured people would understand. My fault.

Hmm, my post was actually pretty poor, I'm mean it really bombed....like Michael Bay bombed. So I figured you'd appreciate it, and give it a 10 out of 10.
