I find that for me it's also a lot about whether or not I swallow my saliva when it is becoming thickened during smoking. Whether with a cigar or my pipe, if I find my saliva getting thick and full of the tobacco taste it is time for me to spit. Swallowing it will make my stomach feel bad.

Probably the second worst puking/runs combo of my life was the first time I smoked a cigar. I had a bit of whiskey with it too, and it took me months before I could even touch a drop again. Just the thought of either of those things would make me almost retch (and I was a whiskey drinker before this incident). Needless to say, I have no intention of going near a cigar/cigarette etc. again.
Coincidentally, the worst puking/runs combo was in Cuba, but involved food and not cigars.

I have no official allergies, but if there is something I'm allergic too, it's got to be cigar/cigarette smoke. I feel terrible after being in a smoky room for a few minutes -- never mind smoking a cigar.

How do smoke cigars? I have always been told not to inhale, but then what the hell do you do?
Pucker up?

Draw in your cheeks to pull the smoke in. If you're used to smoking anything other than a cigar or a pipe, it won't feel natural at first, but you should be using your mouth instead of your lungs.

Yeah, it's definitely more of a puffing motion than any other kind of smoke. Cigar smoking is all about flavours and savouring a smoke...and looking fatain' cool with big billows of smoke coming out of your mouth
