I just picked the car up after a $500 interiour, exteriour and engine detailing:

*BUMP*

I forgot that I have a third set of tires (tyres?) for the GTI! They're all seasons that came with the car (fit on the stock 17" rims that are currently running the winter Blizzaks). They'd be useful if you need to get around on the stockers for some reason!

Also, I've lowered the price again!

The fuel economy is amazing - This is why I am buying another car with this same motor (the 2.0T)

If I drive nicely, around town, i get 6.5L/100KM!

driving sedately on the highway I see 5-5.5L/100KM!

It's insanely frugal when driven gently, but unleashed hell when you stomp on it. The best part is, I drive it spiritedly at times, and I think I am averaging, lifetime, 8.5L/100KM in the city, 6.5L/100KM on the highway

This car is amazing - the turbo, combined with direct injection, really does give you thebest of both worlds - crazy good fuel economy off-boost, and power on boost.

Man you're having a fata of a time unloading this, eh?

I hate selling cars in this price range lol. I find cars under $10K are fairly easy to unload, but over that threshold it gets tough for a private seller.
