You'll have to confirm with Flamesrule to be sure, but I use to play with the CSSC and now with the ESSC. For floor hockey, they require you to use a specific brand/type of hockey stick. It has a plastic blade and a fiberglass shaft (brand name is DOM). You'll probably be able to use the sticks at the gym where you play, or borrow from someone on your team since only 4 people are on the floor at a time.

Yes we're going to be playing for CSSC so you will either need to purchase this Elite stick for $18.75 at TeamSkyline, which is on Macleod by Chinook Centre. Or you can use the sticks available at all the arenas, they won't be great but they'll be there.

Hey so this Thursday (April 22) is our first game and because of us being in University and it being final exam time, we're short a couple of girls for the first game or two.

Any interested females for joining us this first game, start time would be anywhere from 7:00PM-10:00PM, it'd be an hour long and a location and exact time is TBA earlier in the week.

I love floor hockey, however everytime I've played it co-ed there are a few hot shot guys who think they are NHL'ers and I spend my time standing on the gym floor frustrated as hell.

Haha I can see where you get that idea and experience I don't blame you.

If you are interested though we're not like that at all, and that's compounded by the fact that this is our first time of joining this league together as a team.

Looking for goalie who can play this Thursday in our Rec Plus CSSC league, 8:00PM at Shawnessy YMCA. If interested also looking to have goalie for rest of the season for 4 more Thursday night games after this weeks. PM if interested, shud have own equipment and of decent quality, don't have to be a superstar obviously but the better you are the better for us haha
