People are reporting disconnecting the internal battery for 5-10 minutes and letting the CMOS clear itself has been fixing the issue.

5pm MST is 12am UTC, the end of the calendar day causing all the issues. The internal clock uses UTC as reference. The problem may (hypothetically) go away once the date changes.

Haha, Sony with the "we'll fix it within 24 hours", even though there is nothing they can do but WAIT 24 hours for the problem to go away. Their engineers were probably not even working on it....

I had 90 something cents in my account left over from something and ended up buying a polar bear theme a couple months ago (don't ask why), but now my file is corrupt!!! I WANT MY POLAR BEARS BACK! DAMN YOU SONY! DAMN YOU!

Good news everyone (maybe no one?) my polar bear theme is back.
