Was in Vegas at the same time as Chris Rock, wasn't able to get tickets to his show so settled with KA at the last moment. Caught Chris Rock's standup show on HBO a couple months later. Glad I went to KA instead.

Chris Rocks' shtick is getting old. And his voice grates on my soul.

He's like Lisa Lampanelli. You see her once, she's hilarious. Second time, pretty funny. After that, it's the same old routine.

I'll be another one to say go see KA. It was really entertaining from start to finish.

My sister went to Vegas eight months ago and said the Angel show was awful, worst thing she's ever sat through.

Last time I was in Vegas Angel's show was just startting. Heard and read it was godawful. However, they've changed it up bigtime since than and my buddy just went and said it was good.

Personally, I'd go to "O" or KA. This way you are guaranteed to walk away satisfied.

I was just there in December and the buzz around the Criss Angel show is pretty negative. I saw Love and if you're a Beatles fan, definitely see it. Mystere wasn't bad. My wife has seen Ka and says that it is pretty impressive and her favourite of the Cirque shows that she has seen.

Strangely enough, Carrot Top also at the Luxor, is getting rave reviews.

Thanks for all the advice. It came down to either O or Ka, but two people that are coming on the trip have seen O, so it was KA by default.

My next question: Can anyone recommend a good gentleman's club to go to that isn't very far from the strip?

Spearmint Rhino. You will not regret it. It is a must see when you go to Vegas.....or so I have heard.

This will be FAR more entertaining that any Cirque show.

One more vote here for KA as well. I have only seen one Cirque show but KA was pretty damn impressive.

But seriously got to the Rhino, you will LOVE it.

I went to this show. I had my doubts going in because I always though he was an unfunny idiot, but the show was actually good. I would recommend it.

Rick's.

Your cab driver may take care of your cover charge if you ask (they get kick-backs).

DO NOT try clubs on Fremont St.

Rhino. I've heard Sapphire's is pretty good also.

Do not go to Rick's. We went on a Saturday night/Sunday morning, and I thought the girls there were horrible. They all looked like ones that were rejected from the other clubs. Good thing we didn't have to pay cover. The place was half full.

you cant go wrong with the Rhino.

call in advance to get their limo to pick you up. free limo ride and no cover. otherwise youll pay for the cab there and then $30 each for cover.

I agree Spearmint Rhino, although Sapphires was good as well.

And definitely call ahead and get the limo to come pick you up. The money you save on cover can get you a dance. Check their respective websites for the number to call.

So, uh, what's the criteria by which such establishments are judged? I mean either the girls are naked or they aren't lol. I guess the hotness of the girls?

I was there and we were staying at the Luxor, and we found a burlesque (no idea where, within drunk friends walking distance of the Luxor anyway), that was really entertaining.

Going to a strip club with a bunch of guys just seems weird, I dunno do you all have to be drunk first?
