I knew he was large, but when he walked out on stage @ SAIT a couple of years ago, I was stunned to realized how huge he really is....
I think I need to change my avatar back to show support.

I heard today (Ron & Fez, XM202) that the issue was he originally bought two tickets on one flight. He then asked to be put on stand-by on an earlier flight. He was accepted into the earlier flight. However, his seat was already purchased by another large man who also required two seats. He complained that Smith was in his extra seat, and he was booted off. This would explain the "I saw another fatty" comment on his twitter. So I'm not sure what the big ordeal is.

He should have to buy two seats. If he cant or forgot its his fault.
I dont want someones side boob or side blubber and their sweat all over me when I am in my seat.
I dont care if it is a disease or addiction or whatever else you want to call it.

I have no problem with kicking obese people off planes or other modes of transportation if they pose a serious risk to the safety of others.
From my experience fat people tend to be the worst when it comes to not caring at all about the people around them.

I am currently training for an iron man competition.
If anything I should be adding some weight. My BMI is right where it should be.
I have been to parts of the United States where large people are totally disrespectful to those around them. I have been blocked in stores by people so big on both sides of me.
Fat people should be allowed to fly but not at the expense of safety.

He fit in his seat, and the women that he sat in between had no complaints...so he obviously not bothering anyone.
I highly doubt that anyone training for an Ironman would have American Idol as there avatar/sig...you're 16 at max

Did you thank your mommy and daddy for taking you on a trip? But I suspect the harness that your parents made you wear was what was preventing you from moving the stores freely instead of fat people.

I never said that silent Bob should have been kicked off.
I said IF a person is a major threat to others safety they should be.
Oh and I ride my stationary bike while I watch Idol.

Not appropriate. Someones weight has no bearing on their empathy of people around them.

I have never been elbowed in the chest by a non obese person.
Also, this isn't ment to be mean but could they maybe look around to see if they're blocking people? in line ups for example.
