For Shaw customers, only Vancouver and Calgary have CTV simsubbed over CTV. Come down to Lethbridge for the unmolested CBS feed!
No I'm pretty sure it is CTV's fault. The CRTC are evil too though. There is a thread from last year about how because CTV has the SuperBowl rights in Canada they can simsub even the U.S. feeds that come in. EVIL. If I pay for U.S. content through my cable provider than it shouldn't be hacked up like Frankenstein's monster with crappy Canadian commercials. If I want to watch those I can easily do that on other channels.

By the time the game was over I had a seething red faced dis interest in the Vancouver Olympics. I felt like the ads were jammed down my throat.
I mean lets be honest, was it totally neccessary to run a Vancouver Olympics ad every two minutes during the Superbowl? Who the hell didn't know that the Olympics started on Friday?
If I hear that theme song over the next few days I swear to god people are going to die horribly.

In Calgary, Starchoice also had CBS un-simsubbed (if thats a word). Bell and Shaw were out of luck because there is a local CTV-HD ... Sadly, I didnt find out until today...
