Considering prostate is most common and most treatable cancer among men, he's not seriously ill. He's able to walk and keep on working for the past few months since he was diagnosed with it.

Don't get me wrong, I wish him all the best and a speedy recovery...but lets call a spade a spade.

Except cancer is cancer and should never be taken lightly. All it takes is missing something and suddenly he's a dead man walking. I think cancer is something you always have to take as a serious illness.
