My point was simply that no one is saying that the polar ice caps will totally melt by 2080. So showing dramatic photos of New York underwater is misleading. Why show a graphic of science fiction? Now I am not saying that global warming isn't going on. But New York with tiny puddles in the streets is not very sexy when you are trying to scare people into action.

As a Pastafarian, I am well aware of the relation between Pirates and Global Warming. Which is a funny thing since I know the Somali Environment Minister.

As a GW-denier you obviously think that the ice caps melting is in the same realm of Mothra attacking the earth. But I think a poll of the scientific community would return a different opinion.
