Hot glue gun is what I used, and it was rarer for systems to come back with that problem. Also try not to hammer on the power button.

Otherwise, just take out one of the 3.5 " plastic bay covers, and hang the power switch from there.

It is a good first check.

I am an IT 'professional'. I had two computers fail in two days. Turned out that I was accidently kicking the power button on the powerbar.

All done! Hot glued it back in place . . . left instructions with others to quit pounding on it!!

Nice end to a weird day . . . just said good-bye to the firemen that were at the house because one of our CO2 detectors went off . . . good times!

Hot glue is what most of these cheap cases kept the switches in with originally anyway. Look at the reset switch below, it already has hot glue on it. Maybe the factory forgot to glue in the power switch.

Computer stuff isn't hard. Wouldn't it have been funny for you to pay a guy $75 to come to your house and all he did was glue a piece of plastic?

LOL . . . ya that would've sucked seeing how easy it was . . . I need to learn how to do more stuff like this on computers, it's actually kind of interesting.
