You sir have no idea what you are talking about!!

Panorama has some of the best Fall Line Skiing in Canada.

Sure, if you are a beginner and want to stick to the runs that everyone skis you are going to find that it gets skied off quickly and is icy.

However, if you are a capable (Don't have to be expert) and want to veture into the trees and some of the other areas that onle 5-10% of people ski then you wil find some of the greatest Runs.

Panorama is no different then any other ski hill in that they are dependant on the weather but as I have already said the "natural" fall line off piste skiing is as good as anywhere else

Maybe Intrawest wouldn't have lost so much money if they didn't fly everyone who works in their call centre to their resorts for so-called "product knowledge."

That's great that 5-10% of the runs are decent, but when large areas such as the Sunbowl are a waste of time for most of the year because it doesn't get enough coverage, the hill sucks. It's not in an area that sees much snow at all. Fernie please.

Ya, the sun bowl sucks unless you get some decent snow. I was there last weekend and they had 18cm of new snow and the sun bowl was absolutly fantastic.

i usually stay away from the sun bowl thought because everyone on the mountain seems to head over there.

I agree that it doesn't get as much snow as Fernie. Btw have you tried Castle? Just as much snow as Fernie but half the people really an awesome hill with some unreal runs

Next time you go to panorama I would suggest you try these runs (My favs)

Tayton Bowl Never Never Land( bit of a hike but worth it takes about 45 minutes - 1 hr round trip per run)
Stumbocks (off of view of a thousand
From the summit (my favorite circit is Gunbarrel to Orca to Last Chance to Tacky! (This will get your thighs screaming at you )
Hidaway (My favorite for tree skiing)

Do you by any chance know how one gets in on becoming one of these investor groups like this? (that actually does stuff, not gimmicky sketchy, radio advertised ones)

Haha, Sorry no.

I don't have the financial background to run in those circles

I have only met these people on the ski hill when skiing with my father in law.

I wish I could help you. I really REALLY do

I actually don't ski... at all. I love GreyWolf and several golf courses in the Windermere/Invermere area, and we like staying up in Panorama for our golf trips.

Don't Forget Heli-High and Pi. I agree Gunbarrel to Orca to Last Chance is my favorite run of the day, only problem is that it takes a bit of time to get back on the lifts and back to the top, which is why I like going down Hideaway repeatedly. I'm heading there for a Ski trip this weekend, which should be epic!

Yep, pretty much anywhere in Tayton is a good bet. We usually do Tayton circits but the other are nice too since they are'nt as "Hard core"

It was pretty Epic last weekend, This is the only weekend all year I'm not going up

Happy Skiing

The golf course and Ski hill are owned by seperate owners. Not sure how this would effect the accomodations for the ski hill but I'm sure the new owners would carry on the same "relationship".

How else would they make money in the summer

if you continue on to TAcky and then take the chair, follow the trail and then jump into the lower part of Hideaway (Under Summit) quad there are some nice tree runs. Go a little past the entrance to the Sun bown and there are another few good tree runs on the left side (Can't remember their names right now. This will take you to the triple chair (Which I hope they repl

Yeah, I thought so because they kept having to close the Bobsled track and even cancelled a few days of events there. We had tickets to one of the cancelled ones.
