That is insanely impressive. The amount of time it would take to match all that up and layer it would be immense.

Pretty yes. If she would eat a cheeseburger or two she could be much hotter.

What is that effect that pop singers are using nowadays? The terrible one that distorts their voice so they can mask their awful singing abilities?
I believe it's called auto-tune. The DJ obviously used it more than the artists did to match everything up a little better. When used properly I actually kinda like it.
Just for the record I sound like a superstar when I use the Tpain app on my iphone!
That's the saddest part about it being used by "professional" "artists". Everyone can sound good with it (if that's what passes for sounding good these days).

I think you can still mess it up. It still needs to be used in the correct framework. I don't buy into the idea that it's "wrecking music" because it doesn't really exist outside of hip hop and pop. It's an isolated fad that exists in only a few genres.

What framework is that? T-Pain, or whoever, used it in an entire song and was successful from it. That's not using it in any sort of framework.
You missed the R&B genre, too.

Except T-Pain still needs to use it within a song to be effective. In my eyes the song is the framework. Whether the song is something made with real instruments or a mix of digital sounds it's still a song. In addition, he does actually sing. His voice is digitally altered, but he is composing a vocal track.
How has the legendary Girl Talk not been mentioned in this thread. By far the best mash-up DJ right now. His albums Feed The Animals and Night Ripper are awesome.
So this guy took 25 horrible songs and mashed them into 1 super crap supreme song? I made it through about 15 seconds.
Great technical ability though, no doubt. Some impressive editing/mixing.

It's one thing to edit the music, trust me... takes hours to make a great mashup. It's another to edit the video together. Colour me amazed.
I won't pretend I know what I'm talking about, but my understanding is you could do it together with a dvj-1000. Mixes the music with the video at the same time. No?

So I guess I'd like to use this thread as a place for people to post similar mash-ups or remixes that they like. I'm always really interested to hear how certain songs sound together and what other people can come up with.
Jaydiohead is pretty great I think, for anyone who thinks a Jay-Z/Radiohead mash-up might suit their tastes. It really got me interested in mash-ups.
