Good point. Didn't think of that... or if your bag is delayed or lost. Could be sitting without power for a while and it could cause you more trouble than just a boring wait sans computer at the airport.

Laptop computer in a briefcase style bag (backpack style not permitted)

One animal in a carry-on kennel

Those are the only permitted items
