I dunno... Bud isn't exactly much better. Pretty generic taste between all three. Just that Bud always tastes like Bud. The other two throw in a can of toilet water every so often. (cue "the whole case is toilet water" remarks)

Oh come on. What is $50 out of that to support a website you know you can't live without?

Yes, but you spent the money to pay your bills on beer in the first place

I knew a very wealthy guy that had a bunch of race horses. He ran out of places to put his winning tickets and other racing materials...eventually he had memorabilia placed inside his toilet seats. I think that would make a fantastic spot to put your Labatt cheque.

That is honestly - simply amazing. I'd expect a case of beer or something like you said - but a cheque for over a thousand. That almost has to be a mistake. But congrats! Great way to start of the new year.

I'm Bingo's new donation and sales manager. I actually get a cut of all donations made to the site so I gotta work it!
Just personally whenever I run into money like that I always donate a little bit of it so it was more of a suggestion than anything. Your money you do what you want, I was more just bugging you.

Still not worth it! Haha!
But a great story though, pretty neat.
In all seriousness I'd probably drink Colt .45 for a year for 1000 bucks! Haha!

Well, damn good advertising for them. Circulate that story in an email and they'll be getting the best kind of advertising they can through word of mouth.
That really is phenomenal customer service.

Might they be counting on that? Most wouldn't believe it to be the truth. However, as seen on CP, I can't deny that it is the truth.

Here's the thing- my initial thought was "next time I'm buying beer it will be Bud." But seeing as Bud is brewed in Canada by Labatt's- doesn't that actually reward the company that didn't listen to OK's complaint?

Is it brewed or just distributed by Labatts?

Perhaps, but in Canada, we don't have a choice. Not like I can drive over the border every time I want to pick up a case.
Anheuser-Busch would still reap benefits from the sale.

Anheuser-Busch still gets the royalties, etc. Labatt has to pay the liscense fees and portion of profits, etc. mostly to Anheuser-Busch.
