Well, Cow has now added only 195 posts, and is still 250 shy of 20,000.

At his pace (8.48 per day), he will reach it on April 11. I guessed today and I'm out... Looks like Neeper may have the closest guess of March 28.

Assuming a very conservative 30 seconds per post, I estimate that in the last three and half years, Cow has spent roughly 20% of his working time posting. Keep in mind this figure excludes any background research required to review, post and comment on articles.

Rare does a poster accomplish both quantity and quality, but stubborness is a huge factor in debating often enough to reach 20K in posts. Not sure on the latter, but I can attest to the first two over the time I have swung by here, and the date is looking to head to mid April now...imagine if there had been hockey this season.

At the rate RougeUnderoos is going, he'll get 20,000 posts approximately in one year less than Cowperson will.

I think the only thing separating these two posters, and I'm not knocking RougeUnderoos here, is the quality of posts by Cowperson is a little higher. No offense to Rouge's quality of posts is meant, I just think that Cow's posting quality is the standard which we all try to achieve.

It was an interesting stat that I found though and thought I'd share it with everybody.
