I'd suggest that if your bank guy is advising on stuff he's not licensed to sell, he's risking his licence. On his worst day, Slava is better than 99% of the bank flakes. We all are.

2. He is an Oilers fan (and has identified himself as the #1 Oilers Fan and Eskimos on faxes to me!). So while we both make you money his is greasier!

Ha, I consider #2 as an advantage, actually. But I don't ever remember sending you a fax proclaiming myself as #1 Oilers and Esks fan. Liar!

It just so happened that I came across MoneyGuy first, and he answered alot of my questions through PM. From there, the relationship grew to the point where he was financial planning for me.
Nothing but good things to report. I feel confident recommending him to anyone.
Well, maybe I'd have more than 2 cents to throw in if he really was that good! (j/k)

I'll lend you 10 bucks and then you can throw in your 10 bucks worth. Way better'n two cents. But, thanks, buddy. I appreciate the endorsement.
Seriously, folks, the last thing I want to do is troll for clients on a website. I have other reasons for coming to this place. I have a few clients on this site but most people want someone nearby, and I'm not in Calgary. I know Slava and we've had some chats. I think any of you would do well with him. Except, you, Draug. You stay right where you are.
One thing on my behalf, I'm older and am...wealt...naw, I'll say pretty well off. I've seen stuff the young farts have not, and the strategies that have built financial independence for us I also use for my clients.
Draug is right. I started out by answering his questions. I enjoy doing that. I probably shouldn't, but I spend quite a bit of time doing this pro bono work. There are a few others on this site who have contacted me for advice, and I don't mind. Nor do I expect anything. In fact, I've told a couple of them to contact Slava for planning and products.
