I am buddies with Dimitri and he said if he wanted he could have declared for the NFL draft in 07 but wasn't ready. He said he felt like the CFL would be good for him to be close to home, and allow him to work on his game. He needed to improve his footwork, but now with his CFL resume he should never return. He is a beast in the weight room who will impress Tuna.

GO DT, I'm getting a DT dolphins jersey if he signs.

I am not sure how much scouting a guy can do watching a game on TV in a bar.

If there is a guy that he wanted wouldn't it be much better to get the game film and watch that?

Dave Dickenson might be a legitimate candidate for the newly vacant Montana job. Will be interested in any chatter that comes down via the Stampeders media coverage....hook me up!

I don't follow the CFL but I do follow the dolphins exclusively what's Dimitri like, I know Wake was a welcome addition this year and he could be a started next year. Sounds like the Dolphins are really looking for gems in the CFL.

NOt only is he a beast in the weightroom. But he is a beast on the field. He has improved his footwork considerably, since his rookie year. He has improved his in game strength because of his professionalism. He eats right, he bought kettlebells to train right and his durability is special. He is a very humble and quiet guy, but he is a real good prospect. He told me he could've declared for the NFL draft but wasn't ready and wanted to come back closer to home 'n work on some of his game.

And he got to win a grey cup championship in 08 and was a vital part of that Oline and gave Hank enough time to pick up the receivers.

Jeez Scott Coe is still playing? Stick a fork in him already.

As a Stamps fan all I care about is getting Reynolds to put pen to paper. If he leaves, the Stamps are headed for a playoff miss.

btw whats going on with DeAngelis? Did he get an NFL workout or something?

Sure it would, go to a big sports bar, tell them what channel you want if if they have the right subscription you'll get your game. I do it all the time.

As good as Reynolds is, he certainly would be replaceable. We have two good veteran running backs under contract who have both done very well in their opportunities: Cornish and Summers. That said, Reynolds is an excellent player and a good team guy who has a chance to set some career records with the Stamps if he plays his cards right. I sure want him re-signed, but the season isn't doomed if he wants to go the the highest bidder and leaves town for some crazy contract.

The guy who is the Mikka of the Stamps is Burris. You remove Burris and you have no offense. We would not be winning many games with Nealy at QB.

Which bar in Calgary is going to have a subscription that includes divsion 1-aa?

it isn't that easy to watch those games out of market in the States let alone Canada.

Barker get the Joffrey deal done. He has less carry's than most of the other CFL backs but he always has more yards per carry.
One more thing Barker he was the west MVP. This deal should have been done a within a month after the Stamps season ended.

The last three years he has been 3rd, 1st & 2nd in total carries.

Sandro Deangelis, Charleston Hughes and Joffrey Reynolds will be resign by the Stamps. Maybe Teyo Johnson as well. I don't mind the Stamps picking up a good punt returner but someone who can play on offense or defense as well during the game.
