I was pretty young when the show originally aired, but was close to a young teenager by the end of the run and really loved their humour.
I think this is one of those shows that I would still enjoy a lot if I watched them again, but would probably find a completely new appreciation given the fact that I'm a good 15 years older now...

The creators/Producers of "News Radio" obviously loved Foley's characters in KITH because Foley's chacter "Dave Nelson" had little bits and pieces of almost every part he played in "Kids".
BTW: Some of the greatest comic chemistry (IMHO) In sit-com history took place between Dave Foley and the Late GREAT Phil Hartman.
It will be one of those shows that you watch and say WTF then as time passes you'll like bits and pieces more and more.
Death's ride was great.

Exactly - a lot of KITH is much funnier the second or third time.
There were some characters that really had me laughing - all of the news crew, but especially the red-head reporter. I liked Thompson's 1/16 native character. The mayor's drunk wife. Nice to see the two cops back. What is up with Rampop?
Watched it online last night. I agree with whoever said it's like other KITH material that you might not appreciate right away. I hope this grows on me. I'll give it a shot the next couple weeks and see.
Not sure if it's been posted before but the show's official website at http://www.cbc.ca/kidsinthehall/ has a bunch of stuff up there like character descriptions and such.
Brain Candy was a bad movie, but The Kids were often geniuses on CBC
Brain Candy is brilliant and very, very watchable. I saw Kevin do his one-man show at the 2008 High Performance Rodeo and it's clear that he is proud of it (the film, though he's also proud of his one-man show, which was much better than Scott's train wreck), and justifiably so.
Death Comes to Town? I can't say I like it so far, but I'll withhold judgment.
Very promising start IMO. It will take more time to get into what I'll call the "League of Gentlemen" format, as opposed to their sketch format. A shame each episode isn't a full hour. I was just getting into it. I think the true test of this series will come once they've cranked out a full season, and you're able to watch the episodes back-to-back.
It's funny how the fact they're older really doesn't seem to change anything. I guess, back in the old KITH days, they were always playing people much older than they (the Kids) were themselves. So, if anything, they're more credible in these kinds of roles than they used to be.
We're four episodes in now, what does everyone think?
I was cautiously optimistic after the first episode but the last two were gold. Some great lines and great characters. I can't wait for my first jury trial if that's what jury selection is like.
