I started the season out 1-5. A tough mountain to climb. I rattled off 4 straight wins to even my record at 5-5 and was able to finish the season with a 7-6 record and clinch the 6th seed with 80 points more than Suave.
Out of 15 spots on my roster, only 8 remained from draft day (A.Rodgers, L.Fitzgerald, D.Mason, M.Barber, D.Hester, B.Berrian, D.McFadden, NYJ Def...special mention to K.Smith who hung around until his IR placement late in the season). I went out of my strategy early in the draft taking Fitzgerald in the first round and struggled throughout the season with Barber & Smith as my backfield duo.
I'd like to thank Derrick Mason, Lawrence Maroney, Brent Celek, NYJ Defense, Aaron Rodgers, Larry Fitzgerald, Marion Barber, Big Ben for scoring that last second touchdown against GB (crossed had me down for the count in the semi-finals until that little gem, he had GB's Defense), Jerome Harrison, Kevin Smith for being put on IR and Jerome Harrison for still being available on the waiver wire, and Jay Cutler for crapping all over Minnesota last week (Proto had Min Defense in the finals).
As well, I'd like to thank all in Div A for dropping your junk so I could add to my roster, and I look forward to the opportunity to 3peat in 2010.
