HMMMM......... Uncle Burger! Yum.
McDonalds is the best laxative I know of. 1/2 hour after eating, like clockwork.
Anyone watch Supersize Me! Makes you think before you eat anything there.

Maybe your colon needs to explode so that everyone here will learn that lesson.

Do you really think any of the fast food places, including A&W are that much better?
After a 2 second google search this is what I found
Uncle Burger: 560 Calories, 33g of Fat, 1300mg of sodium
Quarter Pounder with Cheese: 530 Calories, 30g of Fat, 1250 mg of sodium

I don't care what anyone says, I think MacDonald's is freaking delicious! Of course, I only eat it once every month or so, but everytime I have it, it tastes fantastic.

I have been violently ill 3 times from fast food in my miserable existence.
1st time: "Fiesta Burger" at a Mcdicks in Mexico (3 solid days of hell in a mexican bathroom)
2nd: "Veggie Swiss" at BK on Mcleod (3 solid days of dehydrated hell in my Calgary bathroom)
and the fastest - Mcdick's "Samurai Pork Burger" in Bangkok (literally 5 minutes of retention, then 5 minutes of complete bowel-evacuation in a very clean Thai Bathroom, then strangely completely fine).

I wonder how people can be so sure what it was that gave them the runs. IIRC, it takes 24 hours for the effects to manifest. I imagine there are many things in Mexico and Bangkok that could make you sick.
I think I got sick from Taco Bell one time, but how can I be sure what caused it?

That movie made me want a Big Mac.
Oddly enough, what has pretty much stopped me from going to McDonalds is not how bad it is for me, but the fact that the morons discontinued the Big Xtra.

McDonald's gets a way badder rap than it deserves. Sure it's not the healthiest food out there, but it's not like McDonald's is doing things to it's menu items to make them worse for you. Potatoes cut and deep fried isn't good for you anywhere you get it from. They sell the same liquid sugar (pop) as everyone else. The problem with McDonald's is that it is easy to get a high caloric meal there and people over indulge (OP for example). You would probably be feeling the same if you had 8 organic burgers verus 8 McDonald's burgers.

Not for one second was I under that delusion. Nor has it stopped me from eating in fast food restaurants occasionally. But it does make you think about what is in there.

Personally, I thought that movie was stupid and a complete waste of time with no valid point. Doesnt take a rocket scientist to figure out that if all you ate was fast food for a month, it would not be good...
Mcdonalds gets a bad "wrap", the next movie should be eating anything at Starbucks for a month...I am sure that will do way worst things to you.

That movie didn't have that much to do with McDonald's as it did with over eating. He was eating beyond the point of feeling full. He even ate so much that he threw up. Not a surprise that he gained so much weight. He would gained the same weight if he increased his caloric intake but ate his girlfriends vegan cooking. His experiment was flawed in my eyes.

My face is a bum!

What's in a cheeseburger in Buenos Aires is the more important question. When traveling I always look forward to the one or two times you'll stop for McDonald's and grab some familiar food.
Apparently cheeseburgers in Argentina are bun, cheese, patty and that's it. The pickle/mustard/ketchup combo really makes the burger. So disappointing.
