I still can't believe that's how the Canadian cell system works, absolutely horrendous. It almost seems it would be worth it to setup a US account with the Canada addition (I think only Verizon offers it) if you're going to be traveling a lot or calling a lot of places.

I thought of doing that because I'm in the states so much, but my friends and family in Calgary would all have to call Long Distance to get me when I'm back in Calgary. Good for me, bad for them.
