funny that the assassin (from chuck) is joseph (from heroes). not the first time chuck and heroes shared actors. white guy with fro buy more guy (chuck) had a brief appearance as a comic book store customer in heroes.

How can you forget David Lee Roth?
Especially with the date in your name.

so i just plowed through seasons 1 and 2 of Chuck, and caught up to the last episode before the Olympic break for this season. and while it definitely is a show you have to turn your brain off for in some parts the casting selection for the female roles is EXCELLENT. i was so pumped to see hottie redhead make another appearance, and getting the chick from Smallville is another great choice. it's a shame though that Yvonne Strahovski has to use an American accent, she sounds much sexier with her native Australian accent ala Mass Effect 2 (i will also never get tired of watching her prance around in her underwear no matter how contrived it might be)
overall i wouldn't call Chuck one of the best TV series i've ever watched, but it's definitely entertaining and a great way to pass the time on the graveyard shift at work. now i'm gonna get caught back up with Californication

I was pleasantly surprised to hear her Aussie accent, but it does make watching the show with her american accent a little less enjoyable.

And it doesn't take itself to serious and try to be one. Such a nice refreshing difference then Hero's.
Casting is amazing dating back to Patrick Rush casting the initial cast. Baldwin is hilarious as Casey, levi plays the perfect everyman and I just love Yvonne. If anyone can make Nicole Richie look like a quality actress and have a cat girl fight in a school shower it's Chuck. Levi and Strahovski have amazing chemistry. It may produce the best soundtrack
of any TV show right now. It's never going to blow people away with it's depth or go down in history as one of the best written and produced shows, but I have a tough time enjoying another hour long show on television.

oh and i have to add that John Casey is my favorite character, which is pretty much all due to Adam Baldwin staying in his Jayne character from Firefly. the look on his face when Tricla Helfer was cleaning her guns was priceless

ok they really need to stop with all the love stories. yes seeing a parade of hot women is great, but i'm getting tired of the "I love you but can't be with you" thing that they've reused since the beginning. at the end of the last episode i was yelling at my TV that Chuck was an idiot, mostly because now we won't get to see anymore Kristin Kreuk
the whole Chuck/Sarah thing is starting to reek a little of the Jack/Kate stuff from Lost

I'll take the chemistry of Sarah/Chuck over Kate/Jack any day.
This weeks episode Chuck Vs The Fake beard has been getting great reviews as the best episode of the season so far and in Chucks history by critics. Previews have me so excited

Also bummed about 'breaking up with' Kristen Kreuk.

I definitely know what you mean (for example, the same thing happened with Kreuk in Smallville) but I knew it was only going to be a short-term thing as Kreuk was only a guest star. Although the recycling gets old, it does help with Chuck's character development. Also, what else are they going to do? Give us a happy ending? Would the show be the same if Chuck had a long-term gf?

Josh Schwartz just tweeted that the show will never be the same after tonights episode. Also the 4 episodes that started with the first one back from the olympics were sent out to critics and entertainment writers, almost everyone is praising this episode saying it's one of the best in the entire series.
Big expectations to live up too tonight but I'm sure Team Bartoswki will put it off

Holy mother of god, what a great episode, and I have another jeffster tune to download.
I'm becoming more and more convinced that "The Ring" is inside the U.S. government, we saw earlier this year the conversation between the General and an unknown person begging to let the team know what was coming.
Now Colonel Casey getting the phone call "Hello Colonel Casey, its been a long time"
Mr Awesome in a level 10 freakout and Morgan now knows everything, and actually being helpful.
And did I mention, Jeffster doing Credence.
