Well if we're allowed to include classical then the orchestral version of Pictures at an Exhibition (esp 'Hut on Fowl's legs' and 'Great Gate of Kyiev')

Commodores - Machine Gun

Inferno, I think Orion was played at Cliffs funeral as well, was it not?

And I'm a big fan of Suicide and Redemption, the instrumeral from Death Magnetic. I think it rivals past Metallica instrumentals like Orion and Ktulu.

I love the Summer Overture by Clint Mansell as well as Death is the Road to Awe.

Schindler's List theme is a gutwrenchingly beautiful piece. Probably my favourite John Williams theme.

Carol of the Bells is a great instrumental for Christmas.

Two of the best Zeppelin songs ever

Black Mountain Side

Bron-yr-aur - my wife used this song as her procession song at our wedding. It was beautiful

I'm not sure if I'll be made fun of for my answer, but I'll share anyway:

Crockett's Theme by Jan Hammer. As a new wave fan, I'd say anything by Jan Hammer.
