Also have to throw in an honourable mention for a couple of the classics like "O Holy Night" and "Carol of the Bells".

Discussing Christmas music already? I'm in the "no Christmas until December" school of thought, and have been known to turn around and walk out of stores (while loudly saying "Bah, humbug" of course) where I was planning on buying something because they're playing Christmas music too early. Don't get me wrong, I love Christmas, but not in November (or, in some stores, September).

Well, I at least waited until after November 11th.
I've always been kind of a fan of Trans-Siberian Orchestra, but I recently just got a hold of all of their Christmas music, and was really impressed with these few songs (sorry some of them are live):
One song has really grown on me over the years is Brenda Lee's "Papa Noel". My mom always puts on an album of Brenda Lee Christmas songs, often as we decorate the tree. The voice of Brenda Lee and the mentions of gumbo and Christmas "down on the bayou" add a real southern flair to the song. Brenda Lee's singing voice is just great as well, and I really like the rhythm of the song.
