I was commuting to a meeting at 2pm yesterday, listening to the Fan960 and I also had an urge to kill somebody!

no offense to the girls in here, but from my experience, the bigger the SUV, the dumber the woman behind the wheel.
Generalizations are not made magically accurate or relevant by combining the generalization with 'No offense' or 'from my experience'.
The bigger the SUV, the bigger the d*ck behind the wheel.
The smaller the sportscar, the smaller the a**hole behind the wheel.
The more expensive the luxury car, the shorter the d*ck behind the wheel.
The broader the generalization, the smaller the mind that proposed it...

Every morning on the bus that feeds me into the Train a guy gets on and instead of looking for a nice comfy spot for himself, trips over my foot and practically sits on my lap in an effort to park his ass. One morning I asked him "everything okay there big-guy" and since then seems to go out of his way to be even clumsier. Freak. Give me some space.

My single greatest pet peeve on the roads are people who are too ignorant to merge properly.# Specifically on the weave lanes between 16th and Memorial, and Beddington and 64th.# People need to learn that just because they are simply getting on Deerfoot long enough to get from 16th to Memorial they dont have the right to do 60KPH the whole way though.# There are people behind them trying to merge with traffic doing 40KPH faster because of these idiots.
Related to that is people that drive too slow.# I've always believed that speeding itself isnt necessaraly the problem, but the differential in speeds that is the problem.# A jackass doing 20KPH below the going rate of traffic is just as dangerous as a jackass doing 20KPH above the going rate of traffic, IMNSHO.

I was just going to post about this, a jackass in front of me merging from 17 avenue to crowchild north. It's a pretty short merge so you have to gun it. The stupid lady stopped and had to pull off on the shoulder well we almost slammed into the back of her.
The 20 seconds later a blonde in her forties on her cellphone in one of theose MEGA SUV's like a excursion just lane changed without looking and I had to slam my breaks again.
I swear husbands by their trophy whores these massive cars because they know they are terrible drivers.
17th ave to Crow N is a Yeild not a Merge. My wife got rear ended there. Paid off her student loans. Woot!!

Before construction began at deerfoot & douglasdale blvd, there was a large shoulder on the right hand side from barlow to douglasdale blvd. Like a normal person, I'd merge into traffic & wait my turn. Inevitably, at least 10 people would drive all the way down the shoulder to the point where a turning lane develops, then flick on their signal light & wait for some idiot to let them in. That drove me crazy.
I'm not sure who p*ssed me off more, the people who did the deed or the people who let these guys in.
I called the city & complained, and they put up some plastic hurdle type things one day. The next day, all of them had been bounced into the ditch.
I can understand driving all the way up to the front of a lane that cuts out & expecting people to let you in. In fact, thats the way it should be done. But driving in the shoulder to cut in front of people who have been waiting for a few minutes is downright assholish.

Actually, funny story on that (that p*ssed me off on the exit lane from deerfoot to Glenmore for years)
When the province was repaving the highway between Calgary and Airdrie, and the lines marking the shoulder werent yet painted, a lot of impatient a-holes decided to use the shoulder as a fourth lane to get around traffic backed up because of the construction.
One day as I was coming back from Airdrie, a couple kids got as annoyed as I was with that situation, and solved the problem by opening their passenger side doors, blocking the shoulder. The guy who was "front of the line" in the shoulder "lane" was some kind of p*ssed off.

people that really bug me are the ones that drive 10-20kmh under the limit, and then do NOT use there signal lights to switch lanes/go on exit ramps

A bunch of commuting peeves, most on the train.

One thing I find annoying is when you're getting off at a crowded stop and people starting swarming in the train before they let you out, and you just get pushed around and can't get out of the train. Very annoying.

People who have no clue how to merge! PPPFF! Get up to traffic speed pick your spot MERGE. Makes it easier for cars to let you in. Slowing down and stopping in the merge lane should be an executionable offense!
#1A-#100A
People who don't let cars in from the merge lane. These people should be dragged from the vehicles and tortured to death!
