Thanks for the replies

I certainly notice my game has changed a bit playing with a few injuries, especially when you injure one thing, another one starts to come. After I sprained my ankle (the high ankle sprain), ankle sprains in different parts of the ankle started to flood in and I had 7 different sprains at one point. Most of them are gone, but I tape up both ankle so I keep on playing. Ligaments, tendons and sprains are really annoying because they seem to heal like 95% in one week, but the last 4-5% take weeks to heal. You feel pretty good, you tape up your ankle/wrist/finger but one small thing like opening a door, holding a cup or walking on cement and it starts to hurt.

I guess this revelation came to me when I strained a ligament in my finger yesterday, and it hurts to hold a cup now. I'm probably just going to take that up too since it takes 2 months for this to heal. I do see a break from Dec-Feb I can take (2 months) with Christmas, skiing and a trip to Australia for a cousins wedding and visiting some friends.

Yeah I think that's what the doc said. He gave me some pills for it to take inflammation down when it got really bad.

Yeah, just a pet peeve of mine, when people talk about their injuries out of context. You can't strain a ligament, as be definition a strain is a muscluar injury.

Over stretching a ligament = sprain
Over stretching a muscle = strain
