Adulthood has nothing to do with age. Ive met people in their 40s that arent adults, and Ive met 17 year olds who are decent adults!
You will be able to vote and buy booze though...

I'll be 39 in the spring, and I'm still waiting for the adulthood. Is there a certification course that I missed along the way?

My birthday's on Halloween, too. I've only ever heard of chicks with this birthday.
I know about 8 women with the same birthday as me, and no dudes.
Can some dude here please tell me their birthday is on Halloween? I feel so alone.

My 25th is about a month away... makes me wonder what I've accomplished thus far. Not as much as I'd have liked. Maybe the next 25 years get me there.

I turned 30 last year, and it was the most annoying birthday ever. Everybody asked the stupid question "how does it feel to be 30?"

I love birthdays - free drinks and presents.

I've never really liked celebrating my birthday. When I was younger, it was because my parents always wanted me to have a party and I was always too shy to invite anyone. I dreaded handing out invitations. Now, I just don't really care. Say Happy Birthday, maybe give me an insulting birthday card and that's that. I find the celebrations for my birthday are more for everyone else to have an excuse to get drunk. It's not because I feel old or anything, I don't. I still look quite young, I usually get carded, even though I don't think I look that young.

I think it was my fourteenth birthday when I realized that it didn't make a difference at all - I wasn't any wiser, stronger or more important, and no one really gave a damn how old I was. All that changed was the odometer rolled over.
About ten years later it dawned on me that people really marked the day because they thought it was important to celebrate being alive. I figured it was better to do that ANY DAY YOU WANTED TO instead of limiting it to just one day a year. The date's just a number on a calendar.
