I actually kind of like the Dr. Oetker frozen pizzas. My only complaint is that they are pretty small for the price you pay. I like to have a little left over with any pizza but it just ain't possible with the Dr. Oetker ones unless I buy two.

M&M thin crust buffalo chicken. Low in Calories... like 400 for half the pizza.

I've tried soooo many things at M&M and haven't yet found anything remotely edible with the exception of their hot wings. Maybe they've got it right on the buffalo chicken pizza too.

M&M cabbage rolls are quite good (with perogies and sausage).

I'm not sure if this line of pizza is available in Canada (been available in the States for 2 years), and it is not exactly aimed at the health conscious - just as pizza shouldn't be - but I must submit a vote for DiGiorno Ultimate. In my opinion, it is the only frozen pizza that rivals the taste of a good ristorante pie. Consider Graphic A.

^ Graphic A ::: DiGiorno Ultimate Thin Crust Supreme

Add to that their newest entry, Focaccia Thick Crust, and wow. WOW. Consider every last calorie contained within this masterpiece a successful experiment in tastebud bliss. My mouth is watering just looking at the thumbnail!

^ Graphic B ::: DiGiorno Ultimate Focaccia Thick Crust Meat Trio with Roasted Garlic

I work with some women straight out of Poland and they make insane cabbage rolls and perogies. M&M never had a chance.

I haven't eaten anything from M&M in about 2 years since I had their Butter "Chicken". Whatever that crap was, I wouldn't advertise it as chicken. It was the nastiest thing I've eaten in a decade.

Frozens pizza's are garbage - it's like eating cardboard. I prefer to buy a pre made pizza crust and and add my own sauce, cheese, and toppings.

Pizza Hut sucks! I like the Olive Grove (not Olive Garden) pizza, it's really good. As far as store bought Pizza the Sobey's take home to bake pizza is good..I just always add more stuff to it. M&M's is grosse, but they do make a good lemon pie and good potato skins.

I just don't see the point.

I like Amy's or California Pizza Kitchen but only buy them if there's good sale going on.

Dr Oetker makes the best frozen pizza, with M&M a close second.

For cabbage rolls, there's a truck at the Northlands Mall farmer's market that sells the most amazing cabbage rolls and other Ukrainian food.

I agree. Pizza Hut does suck. At one time, long long ago, they were good, but over the years the quantity and quality of their topping has totally gone downhill. Their sausage and other meat toppings is sliced so thin you can almost see through it.

As far as Sobey's.... meh. Any place (particularly a grocery store) that uses canned mushrooms as a topping, gets a thumbs down from me.

It's not that they were once good, it's that you have better taste in food as you've gotten older.

I usually make my own pizzas (dough and all) and only use Saputo cheese as it melts the best. However I have tried a few of the new frozen ones and they are not bad..

Great, you just reminded me of my favorite takeout pizza. There is a place here in Halifax that makes a meat pizza to die for (and I probably do a bit each time I eat one).

It's from a place called "Peter's Pizza" and it's called The Carnivore.

Peperoni, Salami, Ham, Ground Beef, Bacon, Italian Sausage, Grilled Chicken and Donair Meat.

They advise you carry the box with one hand on the bottom, it's so heavy boxes have collapsed before. Mmmmm, now I know what I'm getting tomorrow after taking my son trick-or-treating.
