Especially when baseball and a racing circuit made up of going in a circle are such huge draws. I'll never understand that one.

I hate Toronto, but I like Hereford too ... especially barbecued.
What is this soccer you speak of though?

I am a soccer fan too, my second favorite sport.
If it was not such a huge part of soccer culture to fake injury and roll around everytime you are touched and whine and such it might have even surpassed hockey.
I like Toronto FC in that it is great to see the hottest (in fan support) MLS team in Canada.
But Eindhoven PSV is my 'home team'.

Never followed it much until I moved to France in the mid 90's. Hockey is a fringe sport in France so I started following Les Girondins de Bordeaux. Caught the fever when they went to the UEFA cup final in 96 and I was hooked. Sad that there is so little coverage of the sport here in Canada, although I do catch the occasional premier league match on TV and used to follow the Calgary Storm / Calgary Mustangs when they were in town.

I play for the Rangers FC, usually flipping between the 3rd and 5th divisions. You?

My folks are both from Norwich, but I was born here in Canada. Whenever I go over there to visit the rest of my relatives I try and catch a game.
I even went with my cousins to Sheffield to watch them get destroyed 4-0 in an FA Cup 3rd round match back in 2000 or thereabouts. Good times, good times.
Hopefully they're on track to get promoted after that shaky start to the season.
Are you an ex-pat?

Yes - born in Gt. Yarmouth just outside of Norwich. I think they'll come back up this year - hopefully with Ipswich going down.

Always loved it. Was an Ayr United fan as a kid. My Mom was born in Prestwick and my Dad moved there from Cairnryan. My Dad actually lived on Toll Road and if he jumped over his back fence he was in Ayr. I saw a Celtic-Ayr United game there when I was a teenager. Was an awesome game.
Soccer made in Germany was like the first program that showed soccer every week. They showed a ton of Bayern Munich so became a fan of theirs. Then when they started showing Premier league games it was always Man U.
Now we have Toronto FC and soon the Whitecaps again.
It may finally be that soccer is going to get over the hump in NA!!!!!!!!
