I'm going to Houston on Satuday and have been looking at prices. Honestly, the deals aren't that good on everything. Golf Equipment is noticably priced evenly - there's maybe a 5-10% advantage in buying down there?

I haven't found electronics to be a big difference either. Compare bestbuy.ca with .com and I figured that it's not much of a difference on most items.

Not that there won't be exceptions but be sure to really do you homework.

Yeah, support the American economy rather than Canada's. Any saving to be had I'm sure is negated by the money spent on gas for driving to Montana or wherever and back.

The trouble is you have to go to Helena if you want a Macys (for decent clothes). That's the trouble with GF, the department stores at the mall lack any decent fashion sense.

The list prices on many items are similar, but the sales are often better down there. Take this for example:

Frys, $299:
http://www.frys.com/product/5607621

Visions, $548:
https://www2.visions.ca/catalogue/ca...vel=''

Future SHop, $649:
http://www.futureshop.ca/catalog/pro...40&catid=10551

Also, you'll be able to find better in-store deals at Frys than you get on the web site. You'll find decent, current model Blu Ray players for $149, for example, in-store at Frys.

No Frys in Montana, tho.

yikes, drive the extra distance to Spokane. Great Falls is a shady little town. Think there's a Hardee's though.

Has anyone ever seen Piano Pat perfrom in GF?
