Where is that little play action pass where they fake to JR inside and Burris rolls out and has a couple of receivers rolling the same way? Teams bite on that almost every time.

Next question, why is Howell returning punts? Summers is decent at kickoff returns why not try him at punt returns?

I love how a 3 man rush means there is still a WIDE OPEN receiver on the field.

Useless.

When the Stamps were moving the ball very effectively they had all kinds of motion with the receivers as well. I don't see the motion at all anymore. Like WTF has happened?

Calgary's offense has no intensity at all. I guess they are satisfied with last years Cup.

The defence has been better since the first drive of the game.

My best guess is with all of the injuries to receivers they essentially have to start from day 1 again, but that is me reaching...

REALLY reaching, maybe Cortez and Huff have a master plan where they show nothing until playoffs then BAM!!! Start blowing teams out of the water with the amazing O again.

This team has become so predictable too - 1st down - run 2nd down - Inc pass.

Adding Bryant and Franklin has meant they've gone to a ridiculously vanilla offense.

That doesn't explain why we can't run the ball to the outside or run play-action however. You'd think the running the ball up the middle every run would set up the play-action perfectly, but the Stampeders choose not to do that.

Wow, there's a novel concept.

Play-action + simple throw for a struggling QB.

Too bad it took a quarter to do it.

Good pass by Burris...but why are we running play-action on 2-and-9?

Good pass for a first down and then another deep pass down the field...sets up 2nd and long. I don't get it.

Sandro makes it 8-3.

I won't put all of the crap O on Burris' shoulders - when a QB buys his receivers 5+ seconds on a play and STILL no one is open, there is more than just crap play by the QB.

The entire O is just awful.

I don't think the Stamps have it in them to win it all this year, so I hope Sask makes the Grey Cup so I can sell my tickets for a large profit.

Just look at how long it took for a receiver to come back to the QB after Burris was scrambling. That was terrible.

Same crap the Stamps have done all year. Cortez has some obsession with deep throws and refuses to throw the ball under 10 yards for a consistent amount of time. Who cares if the only time we have success is when we add those short throws to the offense?
