My Mum had a Roadhouse poster on the basement wall for years with Patrick Swayze flexing his muscles. Of course, all of my friends thought I was queer despite my insistence that it was my Mum's. But I never did take it down. In fact, I think that it is still there - I'll have to check next time I go home.
Now I'll have to get the damn thing laminated and light a candle beside it.
Seriously though - very sad news. I always picture myself living older than 57, and I'm sure that he did too.
