But you've never been compared to Patrick Bateman. That sort of thing tends to keep people away.

One, in a parking lot at an ice rink in So Cal. Didn't know he was a Flames fan, he was a teammate of a friend of mine. Funny guy, he was entertaining.

I forgot to mention one of the members I met was Jiri. Camrose BPs was never the same after that. He's got to be worth more points right?

Too many. Every time this comes up though.. I have to tell the best story of meeting a CPer.
It was Edmonton in November 2003. I was at the Flames Oilers game (November 15th I think) and we lost in overtime. I was there with BBS and hulkrogan and throughout the first period we kept screaming: "BRING OUT CORY CROSS!"
The Oiler fans were very annoyed with us, finally someone turned around and went "Why do you keep asking for Cory Cross?"
"Because he's a pylon!"
"Oh.. yeah, good point."
During the first intermission a guy in a Flames jersey seater right in front of me turned around and goes:
"Who are you?"
"Uhh.. what?"
"Who are you, on CP, who are you?"
"Oh.. uh.. uhm.. kermitology. Why, who are you?"
"browna"
"Oh, hey, nice to meet you man. This is Bring_Back_Shantz and this is hulkrogan."

Through the football around with mr mustard one afternoon, no, really.
Kermitology keeps walking past me when I'm at the bus stop after work, coincidentally right outside of where kevanguy used to work.
Icarus had frosty tips.
Habernac took some money from me right off third avenue, the whore.
Also met mrcflameboi and flamesgimp at the same time, wow was that ever a "what a small world it is" meeting.
|
I do not! I used to, but that was almost two years ago! I don't walk that way, I cycle to Inglewood!

I met Hulkrogan at a stag a while ago, although at the time we did not know it. He somehow connected the dots of the mystery, by deducing that 'algernon' and Algernon are the same people.
I'm working in ma-skis.com's home this week, and met good ol' Rerun a few weeks ago.
Troutman got me a ticket to a beer garden during Folkfest, then we had a few pops at his crib with his hottie friend and I_Am_Beast.
I must say it really isn't as creepy as I thought it'd be to meet other CPers in real life.

I've met a few at a CP meet in Victoria.
A few have said they have seen me around the dome with my jersey but never said hi.
